Add 1 from me. Love your writing even though I can’t quite shake some of the images and feelings from your stories. Can’t wait to read more.

The Wetland Project has been my favorite alternate-reality radio experience since it began. Since it only happens once a year, you can’t become accustomed to it. Close your eyes and be washed over by the sonic reality of an isolated bog on Saturna Island!

I'm pleased to say that everything I'm doing to raise awareness of this new collection has not only generated some pre-orders (thank you!) but also prompted a bump in sales for the previous two. This supports my theory that the best way to promote older work is to keep creating new stuff.

You're not wrong. Clearly long ago enough for me to have forgotten. So much has changed. Those early days of HeyUGuys are some of my most cherished times.

It is! There must a good few photos of the good old days lying around. Such a great time of our lives.

so fresh faced. And then - afterwards, thanks to Jameson - completely faced. Thanks for the memory though - slipped my mind completely.

The new issue of Film Stories appeared on my welcome mat and what a beaut it is. Cover illustration Ben Wheatley; design by @ondrive.bsky.social. A response to polished AI slop: art made with felt tip pens, sticky tape and old-fashioned humanity.

‘An uncomplicated act of love’ is the most wonderful phrase, something to aspire to every day. Thank you for that. If you could add Lynne Ward to the list I’d be very grateful. Thank you for doing this.

It's no Gina G, but this is basically the Britain I want to live in.

Wonderful. I'm going to dive in soon, give it some proper time. I knew the cast was good, but looking at it now it's phenomenal.

I’ve never seen it. I don’t know how that happened. But I’m going to check it out. Even at the time, when I was a kid, I knew that people were talking about it. Merci for the heads up.

Basically everyone who's ever worked with Matthew Lillard says that he's one of the nicest men in Hollywood, and I firmly believe that's true.
