Hey! Supporting the AT Protocol is a great idea and we’ll definitely do it. We were already planning to use it for identity.
What we’re really wondering is how a fully private protocol like Index can interoperate with AT not just for sourcing but also for private social use cases.

We'll break down how context and intent shape discovery, awesome conversation with @chadfowler.com coming up! 🎉
Algorithmic serendipity and ambient optimism
Yep, we were a bit inspired by the design, also took some cues from sakofchit.github.io/system.css
Not related with ChromaDB, by the way, just fans.
For example, I’ve always found it confusing that DAOs have names. If we’re talking about decentralized organization, why does this entity need a name at all? The goal graph feels like a brilliant way out of that paradox. Love it <3
The agent ecosystem today revolves around “Tasks,” which is quite mechanical, but understandable.
Goals feel like the next big step, especially in the context of the “Future of Work” or the “Future of Coordination.”
I love the idea of a Goal Graph.
Beyond intents, there are goals as a higher abstraction, entities that exist outside the user, with objectives and possibly measurable outcomes. Natural coordination graph.
"This is the system we pretend works:
discovery as noise, identity as content, and visibility as a full-time job."

This is pretty much what I've envisioned with Community Search Engines and local first data.
I call the intent of what you're looking for a "goal workspace" - trying to accomplish something rather than just matching info.
But it's a very good start: stop searching, start ambient matching.
@chadfowler.com Yes, and weirdly enough, the solution to the trust problem might be hiding where it’s least expected: in advertising. If we solve that mechanism, the next discovery ecosystem won’t just be 10x larger, it’ll actually be aligned with users.
Good to hear, can't wait!
Hey! That’s really great to hear, and I’m so glad you like probablyfrens. Hopefully, we’ll get it going here soon! : )
Hey @esb.lol , any ETA for group chat support? We'd love to build something cool with it.
