There's two primary ones:
- AI cannot understand context. It just can't. Literally all it does is look at what came immediately before and make its best guess at what comes next. It can never "get" the big picture.
- It's functionally unable to create anything original.

I'm fairly confident that AI-generated photos and video will never be truly indistinguishable from real ones just due to the fundamental limitations of the technology at a base level. Stuff that you can't "develop" out cause they're just immutable elements of the way that it works.
