I'd recommend reading the book Unit Testing Principles, Practices and Patterns.

In it Vladimir has a good chapter on integration testing. I like his definition and method of deciding if something is an integration test.

I've been toying with doing this for a while now. Would you recommend still cross posting to Medium (with canonical links) or just cut it and run?
