For me personally, being in a community with so many talented people expressing themselves through various mediums only motivates me to improve my own skills to create something.

With #LVFC coming up this weekend. I spent the past week getting this tail put together to complete the mini partial set for Pax. Cannot wait for the con this weekend!
One of the first touch ups I wanted to make was definitely the eyes. I wanted for the head to have the follow me eyes but I decided on going with the flat 2D eyes as it allowed for better visibility and give the head more proportionate eyes too!

While I am really proud of finishing this project, there are some areas that I would like to improve on such as getting a smoother shave and styling the eyes better. Visibility in this thing is horrible lmao. So expect future posts for the post BLFC updates

Gave the boye another shave to prepare the top of the head to get his hair attached!
The hair is made up of 8 or so separate pieces of hair puff that I attached one by one. I wanted to go for a spiky/sharp style with the hair.

Glued the fur to the base as well as get the cheek fluff sorted out. This party was a little tricky first time around but I am happy with how it came out. Also testing out the fit on the teefs and eyes!

More pieces cute,sewn and test fitted. I was very confident with my sewing at this point. It was just a very time consuming process but seeing my boy slowly come to life was very motivating!
I should note that the head has been completed at this point. I will be uploading more posts to better document the process I had gone through on this little journey
✂️✂️The first pieces have been marked, cut and sewn. I started with the nose and bottom muzzle/chin and will work my way back from there. The nose piece alone gave me a good understanding of how to translate the dart markings and curvy to flatter patterns
