Bluebelly Hill. The Outwoods, Loughborough, UK - part of Charnwood Forest. Smells as good as it looks. Taken with my phone which has a crappy camera, sorry.

Build a wall high enough to stop the missiles - and get the Mexicans to pay for it.

Top right, lovely.

Good idea. Have a close family member who's been in Ukraine for much of the time since 2022, mostly fighting orcs with them. Suspect he may end up living there if peace happens.

Paid for by whom? Will he declare it if it wasn't him?

That's because he's a complete cunt.

Belief in evolution is like breaking international law - as long as it's in a very limited and specific way, it's all good.

Owned by Nikkei - so in effect employee owned. Guess that has an effect (beneficial one) too.

No, no, no, some of us in the UK call it the Daily Heil. It's a vile organ, leave well alone.

I've got the 100 Days card set - we've used them a fair bit but we're enjoying using figures at the moment. 2mm is a good scale for the game, will be very aesthetically pleasing.

Do you use Sam's cards or minis? My regular oppo and I have been playing a fair bit of Blücher lately - he repurposed a lot of Warlord Epic scale stuff, using mug coasters as bases & they look good. We're brewing a campaign too, should be fun.

An Icon BOGOF for #WeekIforIcons. Iconic Glastonbury Tor in the background and Glastonbury Festival's iconic Pyramid Stage to the fore, albeit naked in 2021 when there wasn't a festival. Also a pic of the clothed Pyramid in full flow for living icon Paul McCartney in 2022.

But she is SoS for Media (& Culture & Sport) - the point here is not to do with immigration as such but with the amount of airtime given to Farage/Reform to spew on national TV channels - esp. when compared with airtime allowed to other parties with as many or many more MPs.

This is my other half at Glasto '23 with her Alice in Wonderland themed hat. She made the ears, embroidered the cat and crocheted/knitted all the other ornaments. It has since expanded with more additions.

Terrible photo, sorry - no way to avoid the reflections I'm afraid - but great hats. Do we think that anyone who bought the hat with THAT feather might be compensating for something? Taken in Berchtesgaden, Bayern, a few years ago.

A deeply stupid comment. Really appalling - the kind of garbage to be expected from Farage or Jenrick. You should be ashamed. Enough to make me not vote Labour at the next election - if you were my MP, luckily you aren't.

Better outcome than Brexit tho'

N.B. - I wasn't driving the car - also I'm actually a lot older than 1984 - but I was of an age to enjoy the song, then and still.

"You can't go on, thinking nothing's wrong, but now
Who's gonna drive you home tonight?"
"Drive" by The Cars. Photo taken from a moving car somewhere near Bonn probably, maybe around 1984 - when that song was current, because that's how old I am.

Here's a couple of things from today's walk to the Outwards near Loughborough. Don't know what the 'shroom is - but it looked pretty. As do the feathers - do the latter qualify for #WeekZforZoology? The iridescence on the crow feather is lovely.

Thank you - that narrowed it down enough to get Vicia Cracca - tufted vetch - from a search, which seems to match.

Here's some pics from my daily - when possible - walk. The wheat was waving gently in the soft breeze, which was nice. Can someone tell me what the flower is? (My phone camera's a bit crap, sorry).

Nice lots of yellow on display in the walled garden at the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall, just don't ask me what any of them are.
