If a TV show is too expensive to make, why not just tell the creators and writers that they only have one more season and they better wrap things up? It makes it risky and annoying to get invested in new shows knowing they can be dropped at any time, no matter how wonderful.

It really would! And I think she absolutely would have been in the show. It's incredibly sad. I felt like she was meant to represent the slightly younger audience of Buffy when she came on, which is likely why so many people were annoyed with the character at first. Nobody likes a mirror.

I'd appreciate at least a little appearance from Giles (Anthony Head) as well. I dunno what they would do for Spike if they wanted him back. Say that he found a way to become human or something? I'm so curious to see what they do with the whole story. I've been waiting so long!

A really kind and supportive teacher I have pointed out to me once that sexuality can be fluid. That is something I can hold onto as I explore my asexual identity with the freedom to see where it goes and what it means. (And how that may or may not change!) We are all valid.

I should mention that the books are by Cressida Cowell and I highly recommend them. (My son was around 7 when we started reading them and still loves the story at 12.) The movies are delightful as well but very different.

Oh I want so badly to go to the new isle of berk attraction at Universal studios. Those are the first chapter books my son and I read together and it got him so excited about reading. Plus the story is so lovely.
