Not taking anything away from an incredible Chancalay strike, but this was superb from Pereyra & Diaz. Never giving up on the play, winning the recovery, counter-pressing, and winning duels - what a great mentality.

It was a good performance from Gene last. Covered a lot of ground and mostly made good decisions.
Despite being my favorite #MNUFC sub graphic, if Romero is 90 minutes fit I'm not sure we need to bring on Padelford to close out games. He was lucky Kelsey made his run too soon on the offside goal.
Is this what all Timbers games are like? Felt so chaotic with ball just bouncing off players constantly. No one could really control the ball. Especially at the top of the 18 where it was extremely crowded.
Important win over this Timbers team for #MNUFC. Played well enough but got lucky Basset managed to hit the post on his chance (see the big circle on the 6).
Loons did a good job absorbing pressure in the 2nd half and didn't give up many good chances (except the offsides call on Kelsey's goal).
Duncan was great. He's an incredible athlete, as he showed on the goal, and he was all action last night. Happy to see he's settled into the team as a wingback.

Yeboah looked really good! Got the poacher's goal, but also his hold up play was good. Showed his technical ability bringing down lots of long balls and connecting with the midfield. Exactly what I wanted to see from him.

Great road win for #MNUFC last night. Helped by the early 2nd half red to SD, but they looked good on the ball. Loons connected passes much better than earlier this season and definitely all last season.
Most of the obvious ones already there, but I do think about this one whenever I see a bee
This is a great summary of the many industries at risk due to dependence on oil and gas. It also connects to the recent @volts.wtf about the planning required to make the transition to green energy, and avoid these economic shocks.
This is Minnesota United erasure
I hadn't really considered this re: Boxall vs Padelford throwing style. Admittedly I assumed the laser was the better option, but if the goal is chaos (or Markanich pouncing on a loose ball) the looping throw does make sense.

This is cool! I didn't know who Caravaggio was until I watched Netflix's Ripley. Now my wife and I do the Leo pointing meme whenever we see one in a museum.
Great way to put it!
It's gotta be B.
But if the question is most trajectory changing, it's D.
They should at least call appearances "caps". Makes more sense in modern baseball than soccer.
Meanwhile bike fuel prices have not changed at Costco.

I can potentially be talked down from "remove seat reclining from all airlines" but if you immediately slam the seat all the way back the moment wheels leave the tarmac you will not see Heaven
Seems harsh on Knowles for the leash to be that short, especially given the minimal reinforcements this summer. But the defense can't be that bad again.
Another shellacking from Seattle next week probably makes the seat pretty hot. Galaxy and SD after that. It's gonna be rough.
Espinoza finds Mukhtar, who scores to steal all three points for Nashville!
Surely no team would ever let a player like that leave for free...
Really great essay. This section really hit me. I did this exact thing.
Wonderful stuff. I'm glad Triantis was willing to open up some about his family.
I think this is generous from Doyle regarding #MNUFC, but not too far off.
I think the Loons should see Nashville as the goal of where their evolution should take them. Even if that takes them more than a season to get there.
Picking up doughnuts or curry is my favorite e-bike activity!
Also…let’s just be a state where codes are based in reality and risk analysis. The study commissioned by DLI (which sets our state code) decisively concluded “that certain single-staircase buildings, with appropriate fire safety measures, are no less safe” than 2 stair buildings we currently allow.
Will you actually get results? We had animal control come and take a bat to the U. Animal control said they would only notify us if the bat had Rabies. If it didn't they wouldn't tell us anything.
I really appreciate @joeclowery.bsky.social declaring me, personally, a winner this week.
Triantis is on a pretty long contract (U22), and hopefully that helps #MNUFC hold onto him through next year's sprint season
I can't explain it but the most important thing in the POWER Rankings, is that #MNUFC has more POWER than RSL, Colorado, and Austin. Central to my Loons fandom.
