Is San Diego FC’s lack of depth becoming worrisome?
They are now winless in the last six matches in all competitions and have last three straight in the league.
Should they have done more in the offseason to bolster the squad?

Did not have @timheidecker.bsky.social on my radar for song of the year but here we are and his This is Lorelei cover is it.
How do you only use two subs? At home against D.C. United when you can't put the ball in your net?
Strikers both go 90. Philadelphia again can't score.
Also, Cavan came on as a sub and didn't touch the ball much, but was again our best creator.
Only 50% joking in saying we should trade with Matt Crocker, he can have Poch we'll take Herve Renard now.
USWNT head coach Emma Hayes played a mostly younger lineup against Japan.
Is the USWNT benefiting from playing younger players and giving them opportunities to grow against teams like Japan instead of using similar lineups time after time?
ONE KNOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
He’s very good!
I don’t see him as a lock down Bayern player for as long as he’s healthy.
Just realized that we're in the situation YET AGAIN where we're going to have to hire a Sporting Director before we hire a USMNT coach after the World Cup which means we're going to waste something like a year with an interim when we don't even have a senior youth national team coach around.
Yes.
And if I’m Pochettino I’m putting both Mehmeti & Gozo on the WC roster without a second thought.
We gotta stop being afraid of playing the talent. If you are talented enough, you are old enough.
Let’s not Italy this shit.
He won't, but yeah there's an argument for him to be 26/26 (as there is for both Tsakiris and Gozo).
The converse of this is whomever replaces Poch should have him in and starting one of the September matches.
I think I’m at the point that I can do a hot take on this…
…Adri Mehmeti is the best MLS prospect since Davies.
This man gets it.

A day for us to remember the transformational Magic Magyars
Once again Kendall and Roman are on the case. Very serious people.
I think the community needs to be prepared for the adoption programs we’re going to need to put together soon for all of the displaced Tottenham bros

Holy shit Jude Terry
Carnell should be treating this halftime as one last shot to save his job at the Union.
If there’s not a sense of urgency shown through changes, it probably says quite a bit about where both the club and him are right now.
Frankie didn't start when everyone was healthy, and Frankie was more than ready. Otherwise, he didn't really seem to push anyone forward, only when forced (e.g., Rick when Blake was injured).
I suspect with no GM oversight too, he's not being pushed toward to the youth at all.
Our Academy produces more talented players, too (though Sounders are better at the draft/developing late bloomers).
The problem is, you gotta actually play the players for the model to work.
