can't wait for Lucifer's post-break up rebound era Stolas style in season 3
(manifesting Alastor and Lucifer dancing like that one day *sighs*)

No wonder you like Lucifer
But then once Alastor succeeds well. There's a factor he didn't take into account. That he actually caught feelings. And this will be his downfall. The downfall of his villainous agenda, that is.
Yeah, I honestly think he will seduce Lucifer, who will be at his most vulnerable due to Lilith's brutal rejection/plot reveals. He will probably reach a point of complete despair and vulnerability that Alastor could easily use and manipulate. Might even use himself as Lu's rebound to exploit him.
thinking alastor thoughts as always. i was brainstorming that specific potential plot direction, and i came to a hypothetical conclusion π€
He definitely won't
I see this and I raise you:
β
Alastor wants to have FUN. Power allows him to do so in a more comfortable position. Freedom to have FUN.
βThe world is a stage and the stage is a world of entertainmentβ / βI want to continue my FUNβ
OMGEE. I am begging.
Please do not hesitate. Indulge your fantasies. This is a great idea.
The thing is that him gaining power above that of a simple overlord could seriously come in handy at some point in the story if there's an even bigger villain (Roo and so on). He will finally be able to be useful, and even protect Lucifer or Charlie properly at some point π my useless tsundere
The Modern, Recomposed Morningstar Family...
As foretold in the sacred ancient texts...
By Morningstars I mean both Charlie and Lucifer. They really are imprinting on him. Like little ducks. π
Oh I definitely think they'll eventually find a kindred spirit in each other. Alastor will struggle a lot to fight emotions and feelings when it comes to the morningstar. Just them being... Them. Is ruining all his plans and control lmao
actual villain that will reveal themselves, once he gets his shit together as an anti-hero.
Again, Siri, play Criminal by Fiona Apple at the end of s3 I guess. So all in all it would be a red herring, but his scheme will serve a purpose for a later "heroic" role. Potentially.
I think that if the villainous qetup is for him to gain a lot of power (and rank) through a (matrimonial???) deal with Lucifer, the evil nature of it will be a red herring. His new-found rank and power will become a crucial supporting role with the shitfest cosmic level of
I'm just brainstorming, of course. I need to look into what kind of plot and development that could unfold from these and what's more likely, especially taking into account the other more bigger villain plot with the root of evil (and potentially Eve?)
I still think Alastor's "you'll never fill your cup, you're broken from the start no victory will ever be enough" to Vox was just as much him projecting and a foreshadowing for his own villainous agenda. In his case, the humanity (feelings) he tries so hard to repress and reject will be his downfall
There are so many possibilities at this point. He could also have Lucifer join him in his villainous agenda, because Lucifer might reach a breaking point that could lead him to complete despair, and thus having them both turning into a temporary "means to an end" villainous duo. But idk...
through a manipulative deal with Lucifer, exploiting his vulnerability during s3. But Siri will play Criminal by Fiona Apple and his villainy will end up being nothing but a red herring because he's gonna catch feelings and crash out like the closeted tsundere he is.
This would be a hilarious huge plottwist. I still don't know what to bet on. I'm a bit simple and just think he's gonna succeed with his whole scheme. Like I have a feeling he will genuinely rise in power and become a sort of new King of Hell-ish. As in, officially replace Lilith
Definitely one of the most obvious and alarming ones lmaoooo
Hm I can definitely picture it. The stakes are gonna be a lot higher, irreversible and impactful than anything we've got so far in the first two seasons.
There's also the fact that an alarmingly high amount of simple-minded fans watching both shows fell for the stupid misogynistic propaganda that "Vivziepop is an idiot who doesn't know what she's doing and is a bad writer without any vision nor plan". Listening to her wouldn't even cross their minds.
These dancing fools need a home!

This is what I've been asking myself in every fandom I've ever been. It's always been the same shit. It's a whole cycle. And when your hobby is to analyse and speculate it's even worse. No one gets it. Like, I've predicted shit that fans still couldn't get even AFTER it got confirmed. It's hopeless.
Didn't Vivzie imply there would be something in S3 that would completely impact both shows or something? Like a huge change at some point that will change how everyone sees things or idk what. Or was that just a very bad paraphrasing from dans. Or just my being ADHD and a scatterbrain.
Indeed. There's also the fact that a lot of people genuinely don't understand how storytelling and narrative process work. It might sounds clichΓ© but it's true. A lot of fans claim to be media literate but actually fall very short of it, it's alarmingly obvious when you see their rhetorics and takes

Vivziepop, most self-indulgent creator to ever create, and for good reasons. Good for her I guess. /lh
Ppl who say Radioapple would be Ooc for Alastor : Do they not understand what character development is, and that aroace is a spectrum? Alastor being aroace is all in his writing. His romance plotline would require a very specific development and conditions to unfold. It would NOT erase his identity.
