What did the donkeys ever do to us? After seeing the latin word asinus today, I realised asinine means donkey-like. Ass and asshole are swears, and in Dutch you call someone a dunce you call them a castrated donkey (kluns or oen). Did I miss the asinine uprising in history class? #etymology
