I'd be down to play! I just started playing it so still getting a feel for it but so far it seems pretty nice.
The Brazil jacket the flagbearers had was really cool! Loved the reveal of the flag underneath.
I feel ya, my work week has been packed I'm absolutely knackered ๐ด
Archery tonight was a bit of a mixed bag. Started off on a WA18 40cm and just couldn't get it dialed in so ended up swapping to a Portsmouth 60cm. Managed to get my gap more or less spot on but because I've been off for so long I was finding it really hard to get back tension and properly anchor ๐.
Really sorry to hear that and I hope you are doing okay โค๏ธโค๏ธ
It's not a purpose built range as we don't have many of those here just a large sports hall. We are all Barebow so max we shoot is 50m.
Yea it's always super hard to come back even after small breaks, I'm just glad I brought my 26lb limbs as I don't think I could shoot with my normal 32lb ones ๐ซ
First time I've been since we moved to it! Awesome range and we can shoot up to 70m indoor! I feel so weak tho, the last ends were a struggle ๐
Archery targets set up for a Portsmouth round competition in a large hall
First time back at the range today in 4 months and it was for a club competition! Didn't shoot great but it was nice to be back at the range and catching up with all the amazing folks at the club. Time to properly get back into it in 2026 ๐ #archery
I could use those words now. I haven't shot now in almost 3 months ๐
Nice shooting! ๐
Still a great experience to take part! Don't let this be a set back for you, use it to improve and you'll crush it next year! ๐ค
Good luck! ๐ค
I feel that, I've not shot in just over a month so I'm itching to get back to the range. Also now worried I've lost all my strength ๐ญ
Solid plan! I shoot barebow so this outdoor season I was working my way up to 50m but sadly it's back to indoor season due to the beautiful Scottish weather ๐.
I really like in house club competitions as it's much less stressful and I feel like you tend to shoot better as it feels a lot more casual
Good luck! It will be a great experience for you and hopefully give you the confidence to enter more competitions ๐ฅณ

Spent my weekend Obsessed with SkyCards. So if anyone loves Pokรฉmon and plane spotting give me an add!
The best things I've found over this weekend is this beautiful Douglas SBD Dauntless around Atlanta.

Grey cat called Jinx standing on a cat tree with white paws and a white chest. Her lil tail wrapped around her feet
Picture of a grey cat called Lara when she was a kitten laying down face up in a gap between a pillow and a leg. She has distinctive white markings on her chest, belly, paws, and face

Late post but I can't believe my lil fur babies are 10 years old now.

God I wish I had a club pro shop or even a pro shop near me in general. My closest brick and mortar shop is a 3 hour drive to England.
I'm just gonna have to hope I order the right arrows ๐ค
I lost two arrows at my most recent competition because there were 4 of us on the target. Every time I heard the arrows hit each other I cringed so hard.
I think I've got 6 working arrows and a bare shaft left. Gonna need to pick up more soon ๐ญ
Yea that compression quality is really nice and will be great for Archery as no loose sleeves. Plus it supports a great cause!
This looks so comfy! I had honestly never thought about using mine as archery tops Rugby tops always have a really nice material on the skin too!
A small archery badge in the hand with the words Bannockburn Spider. The badge contains a target in the shape of a spider web with a small spider at the bottom.
Just finished my first ever archery competition! No medals unfortunately for my category but I did manage to finish top with a score of 826/974 (5 Zone Scoring on a Windsor 30)
I did however manage to get the top tier badge available for barebow and I'm a sucker for a badge! 10/10 would do again
Archery target with 5 arrows in the gold and 1 in the red. An outdoor 252 round on a 122cm face using 5 zone scoring
Finally dialing it in for my outdoor 252s. Better late than never I guess ๐ #archery

Time to build a game I guess๐
Oh man I'm so jealous! Those are some stunning cars! When I was in Ontario I met an amazing guy just outside of Port Carling who repairs and maintains historical vehicles, he was showing me around a built in Orillia Tudhope from around 1910-1915. I was like a kid in a candy shop ๐
What a beaut! The coupรฉ version is my dream car ๐
Black and white photo of a young light skinned black woman in a dark beret and turtleneck sweater, sitting outside of the brick steps of a wooden house porch. Next to her is a shorthaired white cat looking very curiously into the distance, but the cat is restrained by the womanโs hand and also a harness if it should decide to run off and investigate.
Coolest couple in the neighborhood. Photo from my collection, 1937.
