They often stole the identites of dead children as the basis for their undercover personae. They made a personality trait of encouraging people to do criminal acts, often instigating & participating. They set up dozens (hundreds? thousands?) of activists with wrongful convictions ...
They frequently deceived women they spied on into long term intimate relationships, something courts have ruled is a violation to the right to freedom from torture, inhuman or degrading treatment. The Met has apologised (@copscampaign.bsky.social)
