I think that every time I see or hear his name

This is the Brewers-Cubs rivalry in a nutshell.
Sale is one of the absolute toughest lefty/lefty matchups in the league. Benching him here doesn’t mean they’ll do it against all lefties.
I know they still have to manage the relationship, but he’s got options, they don’t need his permission. That said, maybe they decide it’s worth the “punt” of his starts to preserve his happiness a bit longer, I guess
Playing him in CF with his injury track record seems reckless. Let him move less and focus on the mashing
The Rodriguez thing is weird enough to be a “fun fact”. Navarro as a Yankee is probably something very very few people remember
Feels like he’s well on his way to being a real deal Ace
That extra annual revenue, I think, does make a big difference in creating willingness to spend. Vs owners who have tons money all in assets that are not so liquid
I just hate Cincy for pitchers in fantasy
He’s got very deep arsenal of high stuff + pitches and is in a friendly home park on a good team. And was super impressive in debut
Burns has HR trouble and terrible home park. Mis major walk concerns, Schlittler was great but not quite as good. Sheehan has dodgers 6-man/IL shenanigans. Yesavage reg season tiny sample doesn’t look as good. Probably some overreaction to 40 inning debut but I don’t think it’s totally wrong
Sproat has a much better track record of throwing innings than Hall did
They're threatening to kill more of us if we call them murderers. Only a murderer levels that kind of threat.
Not exactly new for the Packers either though the last 5-ish years have been better. 2000-2020 feel like I remember a lot of years decimated by injuries
Interesting. That is almost completely opposite of what i had picked up as he was coming through minors (that he was an absolute butcher with the glove)
You’re right in the big picture but calling Peralta replaceable sells him short
My favorite fact in this genre is: sharks have existed on earth longer than trees have
Ankle issue on wet ground. Idk, makes sense to me
I was shocked Suarez didn’t get more. That was a price I woulda been happy for the Brewers to pay a bit more than to add that bat
Brewers would be a great fit for Lowe as well
I’ll admit bias as a brewers fan (also don’t care about the all star process at all) but this feels like selling him a little short? You gotta exclude relievers because it’s a fundamentally different job. Among min 20 IP as starter he’s got the 19th best SIERA in MLB
97.1 average before this kinda was dialing it back though
Happiness is Lickin’!
Nice Bay with Dflicious Food!
I haven’t watched him, but the scouting reports give me major Freddy Peralta vibes.
I’ll grant that it’s terrible management if they really haven’t been talking to him about the possibility of moving him off 3rd for the last 3 years
A genuinely bad 3B being moved to DH and 1B is hardly “whatever the team needs all of the time” it’s just kinda… what happens to bad glove 3B
I think Arjun Nimmala did it last year but as a single A guy thats a pretty different situation
He hasn’t played since the 22nd. Isn’t on the IL but must be dealing with something
I’m just going to assume that you watching 300 bunts in one day had something to do with Chandler Simpson
Tobias Myers put it together in Milwaukee. Bibee has been great but they haven’t helped Gavin put it together. I think their reputation might outpace reality at this point
