Yes, 100%

Better than that, you can write it off for years as depreciation. My pc for my work has been bringing my tax bill down for 3 years

"Our adversaries will not pause to indulge in theatrical debates about the merits of developing technologies with critical military and national security applications. They will proceed."

Literally the same justification the Nazis used to torture civilians

I don't want to shoot videos
I don't want to post tutorials
I don't want to show my process
I don't want to pour varnish
I don't want to turn my canvas
I don't want to record my screen
I don't want to cultivate parasocial relationships
I just want to make pictures and shitpost

I don't think I have ever said this in any format before -- but if (and only if) you want to be a GREAT ttRPG designer, you need to play LOTS of different games. Different CLASSES of games. Including games you hate, so you can understand WHY you hate them.
Not doing so is lazy.

In the beginning, the universe was created.

This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered a bad move

Literally every post about running a NAS with an OS that has a gui has multiple comments about how you're doing it wrong, and the gods of sysadmin will curse you family for generations if you dare have a gui on a server

It makes it impossible to look up information

Another way to view this though is "we'll make more money by operating in a place where citizens are already guaranteed a basic standard of living and isn't our sole responsibility"

Not defending Marvel, you're right they are fucked up, but the problem goes deeper

So the big studios are abandoning the US and turning the staff workers into contractors to get out paying for healthcare.

The United States is losing one of its defining industries because of not having universal healthcare and the people are going to be even more vulnerable to the industry.

The wildest part for me is when looking at used tools. I see cheap Harbor Freight drill presses from 2004 being sold as "antique" or "vintage"

Nah, that's just kinda old

Every Tech Forum help post, be like:
OP: "Hey, I'm trying to do X with Y, Here are 86 reasons why I must/need/want to do it this way, and I'm 99% of the way there just missing this one part. Can anyone help me?"
Reply A "Why would you do that X is way better with Z?"

WHA?! This is the best news I've had all week

Resolve is my daily driver for video, and I've constantly lamented that a color grading system for photo as good as Resolve's would be the best thing to happen to my pictures

It was a lot of fun, and I haven't lost much besides the stamina in swinging a hammer
