If the characters and story of Pragmata don't interest me, should I even bother?

I started watching every movie that even looked remotely appealing in my free time because Twitch became entirely unrelatable after the Phasmophobia times.

Coachella? Oh you mean that music festival that used to actually be fun before it became an influencer con?

A ★★★ review of Saw X (2023) A good enough spin on the Saw franchise to be worth watching once. I can imagine this movie sort of killed the franchise for the moment however. The gore sub-genre seems pretty tired to me and there are others doing it better. *Not recommended for distracted viewing

Just not good enough boxd.it/dMBD9h

A ★★★½ review of Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2021) Why tf does this have an average rating of 2.0? This is the best acting I’ve ever seen Chris Rock do for sure, and along side Samuel L. Jackson, this was pretty solid. Chris Rock in a serious role is unexpected and adds directly to the immersion, in a similar way to when Robin Williams acted dramatic roles. The plot was also great and there were no shortage of inventive gore deaths. idk man. Something is wrong.

Great Chris Rock performance boxd.it/dRkna5

A ★★★ review of Jigsaw (2017) This had a disturbingly elaborate payoff and was otherwise highly entertaining. Not as good as Saw 1 or 6, but it's up there. *Not recommended for distracted viewing

A ★★★ review of Saw 3D (2010) These are nowhere near as bad as the average ratings. haha what? There are some really great "oh shit" moments in this one. I was pleased. *Not recommended for distracted viewing.

A ★★★½ review of Saw VI (2009) The best in the series since Saw 1. It's all gas, no breaks and has a unique side story that I didn't expect. *Not recommended for distracted viewing.

A ★★★ review of Saw V (2008) It doesn't suck, and the "teamwork" angle is bound to please someone. This is honestly more than I'd hoped for, and at least isn't a step back from IV. Not bad for a film series that seems to have consistency issues.

A ★★★ review of Saw IV (2007) Not amazing, but def bounces back from Saw 2 and 3 with overall just better tone and performances. Traps are more creative here as well. This raises the bar. *not recommended for distracted viewing

Finally bounces back boxd.it/dOZWWt

A ★★½ review of Saw III (2006) Not sure how this series went from not as good as Saw 1 to even more not as good as Saw 1, but yeah... this story is sort of dry. *Not recommended for distracted viewing

Still not as good as the first boxd.it/dOViyj

A ★★½ review of Saw II (2005) Saw II feels like "what if we applied the logic of making more Scream movies to Saw." It watches like it has that cash cow mentality. Unfortunately this results in something so performative that it just doesn't live up the original.

A ★★★½ review of Saw (2004) There's something about the OG and the angle with the cop and the ending that introduces us to Jigsaw that is just one of the best payoffs in horror. Just a matter of preference but I thought some of the performances in this were a little weak and not entirely convincing, which in some parts does deliver the immersion that is required to sell the narrative. *Not recommended for distracted viewing

A ★★★½ review of The Founder (2016) Despite several inaccuracies in some details that are probably irrelevant to the narrative, I think The Founder is compelling. It tells the tale of a man who creates for himself unchecked opportunism and never really gets heavy handed with the moral implications of capitalism. Instead, only some portrayal of how things might have been. Very entertaining.

After several years of watching Twitch morph into some of the most unrelatable normie bullshit available on the Internet today, I have decided to move my content towards primarily long form videos and secondarily short form videos on YouTube and TikTok, respectively.

Please someone recommend some game streamers who aren't ridiculously overacting. Sincerely I want to watch some genuine personalities and not personas.

Google Gemini just gave me all the receipts for how social media creators have rebranded tribalism as authenticity and it’s really wildly scientific psychology stuff. I am excited.

Modern video game designs are so annoying that I was eventually going to quit playing most new releases anyway. But now it’s just responsible to quit due to console and PC prices.

Meta is shutting down their metaverse. This trend was blindly funded and years later, still nothing to show. ASI is currently being blindly funded to a much larger degree with nothing to show. Are we going to wait 5-6 years for results this time?

Two important points:
1. Devs “can” fine tune DLSS 5 functionality if they choose. More than likely - similar to RT - they will be pressured not to in order to save time.
2. Gamers “can turn off DLSS 5.” Some games force upscaling and RT. This may be the same later.
