Out: Write drunk edit sober
In: think about writing to the point of obsession while drunk but be incapable of crafting a coherent sentence and then shut down after getting no work done and then wake up the next morning with no recollection of any ideas you had the night before
Sometimes it helps me to act out the scene myself (even if it's not out loud), giving each character a voice and flow really helps me out!
Writing is fine. It's literally the most embarrassing thing on earth to put yourself on full display for rejection or validation, but it's fine. I enjoy it. I find it therapeutic to set myself on fire.
I’ve only read a little but it’s great so far, can’t wait to finish it! :) I used to vacation in Tawas every summer and have visited that exact spot many times myself, super neat to see it set there.
