We need a yuppie in the White House who’s not afraid to bring the Oval Office into the 21st century by transforming the Resolute Desk into the Resolute Standing Desk With Dual Monitors.

‘Succession’ Is Over. Why Did We Care? For five years, the series and the question of who would end up in charge captivated a chatty swath of the TV audience. But did anyone really win in the end?

"'Succession' offered both a backstage look at the lives of the ultrawealthy and the comforting assurance that maybe those lives, despite the expensive trinkets that adorned them, weren’t especially nice."

The same voting jurisdiction that elected Mitt Romney (R-UT) Governor of Massachusetts in 2002 also elected Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to the Senate, which of course means the same jurisdiction that elected Romney to the Senate will surely elect Warren Governor of Utah should she ever decide to run.

Agreed. I doubt Prigozhin achieves much, and he's just as horrible a person as Putin.

But I do think it is good for humanity to see an example of corrupt elites initiating a war, failing badly at it, then turning on one another. Hopefully it makes other corrupt elites think twice.

If they weren’t going to make it, I’m glad it was an implosion. I can’t imagine a more horrific way to go than suffocating on a timer in your own tomb.

Here’s something no one’s done yet, something I believe should be done, and something that would be a bit of a dream gig for me: design a course for the College Board called AP Rock History.

One of life’s biggest cheat codes is realizing that simply showing up for shit gets you like 90 percent there for basically everything.

Want to be a good student? Show up to your professors’ shit. A good employee? Show up to your employer’s shit. A good friend, to your friends’ shit, etc etc.

NYT gets so excited when they get to report on Trump. NYT loves giving Trump the attention he so badly wants.

Anyway, Sarah Silverman’s still got the juice. Her new special is great. She describes herself as a “godless Jew” and I think I’m going to start describing myself as a “godless Mormon.” Ex-Mormon just never quite felt like the right descriptor.

Could they not have just called the streaming service “HBO” from the beginning and released updates to the app as needed instead of rebranding repeatedly and making us download a new app every few quarters?

The 14th Amendment will go at least another couple years before it sees its day in court.

Always interesting to see how stressed the country becomes over debt ceiling negotiations when the resolution invariably has been and continues to be that Congress and the White House work together to avoid a default.

Always easier to say in hindsight, ofc, but this has never not been the outcome.

No better way to unwind at the end of a long day than with a decaffeinated beverage and your god-given right to bear arms 😌
