Over 100k monthly downloads for nextstepjs. I don't do any marketing as it is free library, still it grows better than my SaaS projects. 😅

First github sponsor for my open-source project! 🎉 🎉 🥳 🥳

Love it when people support open source, not because of income (tiny compared to saas) but makes you feel useful! It is free but people are willing to pay!

Really good suggestion!

Don’t be a "safe" coder. It's a trap.

I spent half day debugging AWS Amplify config only to realize that process env NEXT_PUBLIC works, but process?.env?.NEXT_PUBLIC returns undefined because the Next.js compiler doesn't recognize the pattern.

@vercel.com why you do this to me? 🤡

I had my first bot attack. Guns out now.

Cloudflare and vercel bot protection did not do much. So I had to block particular FA4. Need to put rate limiting.

What do you guys do to avoid this?

2 more today! You know what, seems like marketing really works.

So many slow months, one YouTube video and 280 Euros sale in 4 days.

Now, we need to show our options trading journal to more people.

3 years of work on our Options Trading Journal is finally paying off.

Since our YT video is out, we had total 2 monthly basic plan, 1 yearly basic plan and 1 yearly pro plan sales. 🚀🚀🎉🎉

Gemini 2.5 on cursor was great but had some flaws.
Crashes mid task
Slow response
And talks too much.

That is why I used Claude and Composer. How is it with Gemini 3? I am not asking how it performs, it will perform superb. Does it still have these flaws? #buildinpublic

@posthog.com is amazing! I just wanted to remind that.

I shipped a critical update today, did not realise there was a bug on certain edge case. Saw the bug in session replays even before customer warned us and my team mate fixed it immediately.

Definitely try out session replays.

Only if I did not switch to MacOS.

It is great news for Windows users! They can finally enjoy @raycast.com , it is amazing!

I have been experimenting with Composer and it is amazing! No noticeable detriment to Claude 4.5 or gemini 2.5 but significantly faster.

Not able to watch TV anymore, agent finishes to quickly. @cursor_ai #buildinpublic

We need to normalize supporting devs who give us great tools, especially when it is free.

This is least we can do to return the favour.

I start with @cursorful.com, it is unbelievable that this is completely free! It is demo recording tool similar to screen studio and tella.

October is going so well this year. One of my wishes from last birthday was having paying customers.

This time, we have two different apps with paying customers! Promising events coming up to scale them more. I am sure next year, I will be talking about 5 digit MRR. #buildinpublic

Do you manually submit your new project to directories or do you use someone? If so, refer them here so we can use them as well. #buildinpublic

Sick of seeing .md files in your IDE and Search results?

Just add files.exclude and search.exclude to your .vscode/settings.json in any vscode based IDE. #buildinpublic

Worst thing with dog is you sleep scared. Scared of making any kind of noise. If you do, you need to start your day. Does not matter it is 4am 😅

Cursor Agent is really nice to get small changes in while you are off laptop, but somehow it gets some stupid change in.. Then I try to revert last commit talking to it, but it fails to revert a commit.

Anyone having the same issue? For example it deleted supabase db types file? #buildinpublic

Don't look for perfect! Ship the good and users will ask for perfect if it matters! #buildinpublic

Your advantage as an indie hacker is not your tech knowledge or advanced features in your app.

It is agility and adaptivity! Instead of endless meetings and pointless discussions, you can actually get things done quickly for your USERS. Not for your manager.

Focus on this! #buildinpublic

Important for B2B, always filter the requests.

Especially big companies will always find a way to complicate things. They will ask more and once you deliver, they will ask even more.

Set the rules at the beginning then extend the scope step by step, not at the beginning! #buildinpublic

It always amazes me how people manage to complicate simplest things ever.

Keep it fkin simple stupid. Please. #buildinpublic
