I think having a character who sucks, is annoying, and isnt useful and then the point is like well maybe life is more abt something else is something not so easy to pull off but actually they did, and because of the metaphysical nature of the adventure it blends in perfectly fine

chasing a wish mcguffin could have been dumb and vague but it ended up being fine, as well the main premise could have devolved into muh male ego toxic masculinity but it did not, and the puppy character never crossed the line into being annoying even tho that could have easily happened

I recently finally got around to watching puss in boots movie, I knew it would be good, but I was suspicious maybe it was merely fine and ppl are so starved for fine maybe it merely did nothing wrong and was pleasant, but it actually was good like ppl said
