Anyone know of a fund to donate to that assists people who struggle to afford the documents they need to acquire? Something that will help pay the fees for birth certificate copies and that kind of thing?

Watching my kid go through her masters program has been eye opening. She has the heart of an educator and researcher, and she's good at it but the absolute bullshit she puts up with is wild. I don't know if she'll go for her PhD after this. She's tough but damn.
