I’ve not watched the US one this week but have to say over the past two the UK one definitely has it.

I think it does help to be familiar with the US version. There’s a rough-and-ready thing to it that takes getting used to. When I first watched the US one it took me a few goes to appreciate it. Took no time at all with the UK—it’s better than the US one IMO. Maybe because it’s more my humour.

I was hoping for more Annabel Marlow. She was excellent last week.

3. I get the US test is easier. Really I do—I’ve taken it! But seriously. Stephen has driven for 40 years there, a perfectly successful year here, and now we have our life affected because he has to go through a system designed for 17yr olds?

Is there nothing that can be done?

2. On two platforms (Edge and Chrome). It’s worked previous weeks but no longer.

As someone with long Covid, despite the gains I’m making, driving any distance with alternative drivers available is SO HARD. And the DVLA has no system of licence exchange for people from the USA.

Frustrated, once again, with the DVLA website and system of booking tests. It’s been 9months and still can’t get a test for my husband (who has been driving for 40 years in the US!) to drive legally here.

After being in the online queue for 20minutes from 5:50am, I was kicked out for being a bot.

This was excellent. Only thing he left out is who scored the highest. Where do I go for a proper STP that does not make these mistakes?

Two weeks in, and #SNLUK could well be - whisper it softly - appointment telly.
