I am fine with commercials playing before the lights go down at the movies. I have GIVEN UP that fight. But when you watch two trailers and then there’s a commercial for KFC? I reject everything about it. It is not a time for commercials, it is a time for commercials about movies, which are sacred.

The "Snoke's Boudoir" scene from top to bottom culminating in the Holdo manoeuvre is, IMHO, the greatest "climatic" moment in ALL of Star Wars. Then, somehow, Rian tops it with the Luke/Leia/Ben Crait moment. As an OG fan since 1977 these are just two reasons why The Last Jedi is my favourite! 💔❤️🩹♥️

I watched “An American Tail” from @donbluth.bsky.social for the fist time since I was 10 in 1987.
It spotlights that immigrants made this country. And it reminds me we have a lot of Fat Cats to fight and win against. That film teaches us that a minority can overcome as long as we work together.
Happy Trans Day Of Visibility, everyone. Trans rights are human rights.
Haven't seen the film but this a major coup for Criterion. This release will finance a bunch of obscure art house releases and expand their audience by getting discs in Walmart etc. Hope they do more of this to sustain their company. Back in the day they did Armageddon, Ghostbusters, The Rock.
