In 2002 a major ice storm swept across NC @dukeenergy.bsky.social sent their Durham fleet to Charlotte, leaving Durham in the dark. Days to a week later, power was restored by crews that came up from the South (GA Power was one think). We bribed a crew with a case of beer to get us back up.

I don't think Duke has canceled classes yet. I don't get it.
