I’ll still vote for them if I have to. And I do know that they received a hospital pass when they won - I might give them more grace than others. But wow! I didn’t imagine they’d be so crap.
They never stopped fight the election, so everything feels superficial and unprincipled.

That’s the point of the original comment. The MPs can force him out. They do have that power. They’re not exercising it (either literally or figuratively) because there’s no obvious replacement. The members are shut out from that bit.
The PM is the person who commands the confidence of the majority of the House of Commons. The MPs are somewhat important in that.
Apparently both ends of the political spectrum have trouble with the definition of that one!
Drives me mad!
I’ve always appreciated London City for business flights (not lounges…) - but it’s a quick in and out.
I think it’s better to challenge them and their ideas (as long as you do that). Hold them to account. They get away with it on so many other platforms.
Is that because there was a party in govt for 14 years that left the economy in a less resilient state? Hmmmm… who could that be?
So do set up the community holdings then. Better do it quickly because countries with fossil fuels have us over a barrel.
The agents in Excel are great.
This is exactly what I expect from the Greens. They’ve been internally conflicted on this sort of thing for such a long time.
Get rid of the clawbacks/cliff edge tax events, increase tax thresholds in line with inflation, and raise taxes across the board…
Pay for things the way God intended
Also, syphilis is very treatable with antibiotics. The misinformation you see on social media…
I refuse to believe Edinburgh Council ever refused any planning application that used the words “student accommodation”.
What if they’re near the border or even below it when taking the test, but then peak/shine/whatever later on. If we’re going to do this, then surely a more fluid system between schools would be more appropriate. And at that point you may as well just have class sets within the same school.
“That seems like a strict, unbending one; I join that.”
“I didn’t mean being strict and unbending on things I like to do.”
Fairly certain there a three separate branches of govt in the U.S.. I’m not American, but I’m sure I heard that somewhere…
Maybe I dreamt it.
It’s very odd. It helps that those on that want can’t really point to more extremist religious ideals, because you can’t go against the King.
The Decepticons.
My son and I were very excited to see the Odyssey references, which we worked through together*
*in that he screamed at me for continually falling off things.
Claude is the best “writer”. I prefer its style and suggestions above all the others.
But they shouldn’t be defended?
I’m sorry, I don’t understand why we’d wouldn’t be okay with defensive operations on those terms (and, again, the whole attacking our allies in the region thing…).
Was Dubai International Airport, 23 Marina or Camp De La Paix?
British military personnel in Bahrain were very close to being hit in the initial retaliatory attacks by Iran. In addition, to a couple of missiles being targeted at Cyprus (with 2 GB bases - and also an ally).
That was reported on 1 March.
Our bases were targets for attack before any of the above. And still… what about the allies?
Yes. He really does (their supporters really do).
It’s awesome to think about him as PM. Truly.
Which it isn’t. I would never try to justify those as defensive. And if that’s what they’re used for (as opposed to Iranian missile centres), then I’ve no problem with everyone being locked up
for a very long time - it’s a disgrace and a war crime. The whole thing is a disgrace, of course.
Continued meddling in the Middle East, I don’t think it’s beyond the pale to help some of those nations with defence.
You do. That’s fine. It’s complex. Doesn’t mean it’s illegal to do so. I’ve no problem sending any govt member to The Hague if they’ve gone beyond that scope.
So Iran can just target British bases then? We’ve no responsibility to those stationed there?
Yes, it was entirely predictable. It was an utterly insane and abhorrent thing to do. But I don’t think it’s quite so easy as you say to wash our hands of our citizens and allies in the area. Given our
They’ve responded to a degree by attacking the infrastructure of nearby nations not involved in the attack (and British bases in the area). That’s not self-defence. They didn’t limit their response to Israel and US concerns.
Should we not help non-aggressor nations defend themselves?
So you just don’t believe them, it’s not that the UK Govt’s official stance re defensive measures only has changed?
