Neb says hi.
#jumpingspider
Her name is Nebula and she’s proud that she had a successful molt.
First molt from our new jumping spider. Didn’t waste anytime either, 3 days after we got her she found a cozy spot to molt. #jumpingspider
Plant 🪴 swap 🤝 this Sunday in Denver at Spirit Hounds Distillers. Plants and an Old Fashioned, count me in. #houseplants #plantswap
New workbench area at the new gig
Halfway through week one at the new gig. Vibes are solid. The shop’s full of people who care about the work, and that kind of focus is contagious. Feeling good about where I landed #woodshop #benchman #woodworking #millwork
Photo is of an orange sunrise reflecting off train tracks in that are in the shape of an S
Ever wonder why the sky burns orange at sunrise?
It’s called Rayleigh scattering, as sunlight hits a greater thickness of Earth’s atmosphere, shorter blue wavelengths scatter in all directions while longer reds and oranges push through.
Happy Earth Day.
It doesn’t really get much more custom than that 🤘🏻🔥✈️
Stunning new leaf of a alocasia dragon scale
New leaf appreciation post 🪴 #alocasia #dragonscale #houseplants
Very cool 😎
Well done 🔥
Looks nice 👍
I built an “ikea greenhouse” specifically for our alocasias and other high humidity plants and it has worked great to keep them alive. It’s a bit of an investment but so are some plants.
🪴 Alocasias are kind of amazing. We bought one variegated Frydek and decided to repot, only to discover eight good sized corms hiding out. Probably took off more than we should have (sorry, mother plant), but now we’ve got a whole Frydek army growing. Looks like 2025 is my plant swap arc.
Some say signs from the animal spirit world carry meaning. On my last day at my old job, a great horned owl 🦉 flew past, majestic and silent. I watched her return to her nest, where three owlets waited. Felt like a message: new beginnings and growth. I’ll take it.
Closing a chapter in residential carpentry where I got to build things I once couldn’t imagine. Grateful for the creativity, growth, and people along the way. Now stepping into a new journey in high-end commercial architectural millwork.
I think it’s an Ai generated photo
A little closer look. And yes that is a large bandsaw blade.
It’s definitely on the hunt for flesh.
That’s a good one 😂
Our tropical plants are growing quite well through this winter in their #ikeagreenhouse also repotted a few #alocasia and found a bunch of corms. This will be our first time sprouting #corms wish us luck! #houseplants #rareplants
