Brussels last night: alongside @profgeraintrees.bsky.social, the @ucl.ac.uk delegation reconnected with alumni and took steps towards re-establishing a more formal UCL alumni group in the city.
With #UCL200 approaching, it felt like an early celebration of our global community.

Discussions included a PhD co-supervision pathway building on work with @gustaveroussy.fr.

UCL is now #3 in the QS Europe 2026 rankings. As @profgeraintrees.bsky.social noted, this reflects the “enduring value of European collaboration”.
Next week, Professor Rees will lead a senior academic delegation to France and Belgium, with alumni engagement in Switzerland.
