We said release the files not the accomplices, idiot.
The Department of Justice is pretending it needed to talk to notorious liar Ghislaine Maxwell to know the truth about Jeffrey Epstein, when it is concealing thousands of documents about him that don’t lie. It’s a sick farce.
A good pairing with the first reply: “You won't find life in your books and stories, Bilbo baggins. Life happens out there, in the world."
But what if the cruelty is the point?
Keep in mind Steve Eisman called out TSLA fundamentals as weak and uncompetitive *six years ago*.
who?
like, we're definitely media shortsighted afaict, & of course an anti-rogan isn't a solution (& oprah might already be the anti-broprah), but help me see who the voices who aren't D-branded but pull discussion/opinion that way are.
If anyone out there still thought DOGE was "volunteering," game's up.
Taxpayers deserve to know how much $$$ the technofeudalists forced on DOL are being paid to steal sensitive data, fire federal workers and dismantle critical public services.
This is huge - and disgusting.
This is Lola. She needs to be tucked in for bedtime, but has very tiny arms. So you can see why this is an emergency. 12/10
Sounds like a serious due process violation.
Like, fine Sam, how're the cancer cures coming?
Would they show up faster if you weren't doing murderbots and trying to destroy the labor market?
link says the YT video is private?
And if you find that they're *not* willing to help – or are giving "help" that sounds more like a runaround / "deal with it" – take that information back to your neighbors, and don't forget it at the next election.
Assuming we continue to have elections that mean something.
If you experience a problem w/ social security, go straight to the office of your congressional reps & senators. They should be ready to help partly because they work for you, but also because the Rs are cooperating w/ the Trump admin to actively damage social security (among other public services).
Lately I've been feeling bad about some of my personal security lapses, but I'm not "accidentally looping in journalists on foreign policy / military operations" bad.
More people who can purchase homes or people who can purchase more homes?
"Basic need which is also a popular asset rising in price as indication that it's accessible to some subpopulation"
≠
"basic need which is also a popular asset is broadly accessible."
(of course Moar Supply™️, but how)
I'd agree that "vibecession" was more vibes / instrumental speech than "cession", but we have had better ratios of median housing costs to median income in living memory, and we really still haven't made our way out of the impacts of the 00s housing bubble or the 08 crash.
Every expert has their domain of expertise. It's possible they might have substantial foundations from which to solidly establish what fucking blows while benefiting from outside assistance in judging absolute suckitude.
It's possible there remains more research to be done, though. For example, does it also absolutely suck?
Elephants are cool.
An accurate first hand accounting of last night’s Maloy-Kennedy town hall. Wherein, @dcharrison.bsky.social admits he did some booing.
Human Trafficking.
I miss referencing this *1905* classic since parting w my 90s Oldsmobiles:
"They love to spark in the dark old park
as they go flying along
She says she knows why the motor goes
The sparker is awfully strong
You can go as far as you like w/ me
in my merry oldsmobile"

Without systematic commitment to accountability, tyranny is inevitable.
There were speculative/awed conversations about sex among missionaries in my mission. Could be different between sisters vs elders but it rang true enough for me.
(I've also been assured that "the harder you work the hotter your spouse" is less likely among sisters but def a missionary thing)
So, we should work to bring our best selves to the worldviews we arrive at, rather than congratulate ourselves on the basis of their adoption.
My takeaway: our worldviews reflect our values.
Mr Reed sees religion as manipulative & controlling. That's who he is. As are some religious leaders.
Sister Paxton sees it as a call to service. That's who she is. & who she'd be if she left. Or became a butterfly.
