Absolutely incredible.

NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.

Watch with sound on.

Since the toilets on Orion are a continuing topic of fascination, here's a thread about space toilets. It's not just about function - toilets are symbolic and social too, and raise issues of privacy and intimacy. This image shows how to use the Apollo Fecal Containment Device.

I've decided I just don't really care about space anymore - my time and passion is better spent doing work here on Earth. I have donated my telescopes to the local astronomy club and am in the process of tossing out all my space memorabilia. Probably won't even watch the Artemis II launch today.

The Nuclear Salt‑Water Rocket: Lightning Fast & Dirty as Hell - Alternative Propulsion Engineering Conference Robert Zubrin's nuclear salt‑water rocket sounds like a dare with math behind it: a rocket that β€œburns” like a chemical engine, except the reaction isn’t fireβ€”it’s fission.
