This one is naturalized, brought from Europe by the early American colonists & farmers.

Narcissus × medioluteus, a natural hybrid of N. poeticus and N. tazetta. (The cows and the deer don't eat it and so it can become common in pastures at abandoned farms.)

I went metal detecting at some long gone farmsteads over the weekend but my favorite treasures were these wildflowers.
