WOW THIS ONE IS AMAZING! Angry, disgusting, visceral, shocking, and truly unputdownable! This one went in directions I never thought it would. Graham is hands down the most despicable character I've ever read. Schaefer is a pure talent!
It's such a blast isn't it! So much fun!

Third time's the charm! Gripping from the first chapter, this is the definition of epic speculative fiction. The span of time covered and consumed is vast in scale, and the ideas played with are fascinating to watch play out in full. Loved this!

A fun little novella about the relationship between humanity and its creations, and the abusive nature of power, Tchaikovsky packs so many themes into a short runtime. There was something, however, that stopped me from loving it, and I can't figure out what.

The most indulgent of the four stories in Four Past Midnight, King follows the idea of "why use one word when 100 will work too?" Still, it's a good King story, furthering his own Castle Rock history and mythos. The Sun Dog in question is scary too!

Much better than I remember the film being. I often find that the unreliable narrator trope can easily fall flat, but this one didn't. John Shotter got really under my skin, but Mort isn't exactly a shining star either. Good fun!
