"So, how do you turn a $90 million surplus into a $142.5 million deficit?
Easy. You just exclude nearly a quarter of a billion dollars of revenue that the auditor thought should be included."

Exactly this. JB is the puppet master, RB is the puppet. She squeezed out a few crocodile tears, gave a little leeway and everyone is losing their shit, like we've turned a corner. We haven't. It's as bad as ever it was. Bishop is pure evil, she has to go.

"Bishop has since led crisis talks over the university’s leadership, including delivering what one source described as a “go or get pushed” ultimatum to Bell." 🤞

@thesaturdaypaper.com.au your headline is grossly inaccurate: the VC intends to continue with more than 100 further forced redundancies. This includes through cruel spill and fill processes scheduled for later this year.
Guys, you drank the Koolaid. Very disappointing.
I was always led to believe that you can't actually polish a turd...you can only roll them in glitter.
You are one deadly, courageous woman, Liz. I wept with you yesterday and am appalled at how you have been treated. A bbq is perfect.
"While this process continues, the effect on staff and the morale of the university is incalculable."
Too right. The ANU is not a safe place to work.

🤣
I can only imagine how stressful these few days have been. So many of us at ANU have no voice, living in fear of whatever is coming next. I can't thank you and your colleagues enough for speaking up.
By way of follow-up, that link was fixed late yesterday. I know ANU is monitoring Liz's posts, they are mentioned in their Media Coverage Reports as 'Influencer Social Items'
"I would be optimistic if we had a change of leadership, at the very most senior level. Why is she talking to reporters and not talking to us?" Dr Amelia Dale, ABC News ACT, 3 July 2025.
Um, yeah, but the link provided on the ANYOU employee enagement surveys website, which says it will take us to the full survey results, actually links to the March 2023 survey results and has done for over 24 hours so far 🤪
Yes. r/anu is all we've got in terms of information sharing.
We had to stop posting on r/Canberra, quite some months ago. You will find it all on r/anu now.
Morale is through the floor and the place is going to hell in a hand cart but yes, please tell us more about your shoes?
This is appalling!
Deadly. Thank you.
Seriously, wtf? Is there an audio file of this interview? Kicking myself I missed it when it aired.
Thank you, dear Ronni, for sitting through that so I didn't have to 😂 <3
Very beautiful indeed, Wendy. I would love to see your painting, are you able to share a pic?

n. the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground.
Nah...this is what I call an ankle 😜
