Aya is constantly working to support her family. Both her parents are chronically ill and need expensive medications that need to be refilled every month. Aya also has to find enough help to feed her family everyday. When she isn't able she has to hear the crys of hunger from her younger brother on top of her own hunger pain. Life in Gaza has not improved. Since the so-called "ceasefire," outside support has dwindled to almost nothing for families like Aya’s.
