I made a cod chowder so that I could experience as close as possible to clam chowder without vomiting thanks to my shellfish allergy
4/5 ⭐ and I see why people love it so much. It's literally 50% cream. I love cream 💯

I respect trans people, so it's such a little thing for me to not watch the Harry Potter trailer or show. The proceeds from that property go directly to funding anti-trans work. It's a straight line from HP to destroying lives.
I can actually SAVE TIME by not supporting this. It requires NOTHING.
"When did Alex discover that there were shadow people?" "While you were in the bathroom." #twote
I'm working on getting my new passport and I have to go to the consulate to get my photo taken, then get that photo signed by a guarantor, then back to the consulate to get ANOTHER photo taken. Even though I did all this to get my citizenship certificate... which I have to submit for my passport.
Current mood: mad at Australia
Valentine's Day is birria day. I DO make the rules, and this is the rule I have made.
My (not-Spotify, but a different streaming platform) Wrapped is pathetic this year because sound was a dizziness trigger for me for more than half of the year so I wasn't exactly listening to music
My top song was only 11 times all year LMAO
We're watching a documentary on Ho Chi Minh except they keep calling him just Ho and I don't think I've ever related more to a sentence than "an aging ho became increasingly frail"
Yes! I don't know what's wrong with my base instincts that every time rain happens I'm like "get in it"
Every time it rains I am filled with the urge to walk out into the rain and never be heard from again
I've even talked to somebody 2 of those times and got excuses like we need to start the authorization process or shit like that. Okay but appointment isn't for like 2 months anyway because of other healthcare bullshit, just let me make the appointment and you can keep waiting in the mean time
Why is it so hard to get a hepatologist appointment why have I called 3 times and not actually been given an appointment BEING IGNORED DOESN'T MAKE ME NOT SICK JUST MAKE THE APPOINTMENT SO I CAN STOP CALLING YOU
I sure love being "hit" by game mechanics that happened 10 feet away from me! 🙂
FFXIV developers rerunning the Fall Guys event: "Hey, I know what we can change from last time! You know the ONE stage variation that has thoroughly broken hitboxes? The ONLY one that doesn't work? What if, hear me out, we don't fix it, and we also remove the stage randomization so it's mandatory."
It feels like an apology from the universe that the food that naturally has the best nutrient breakdown I need for my probable new diagnosis is chocolate
an orange cat is snuggling with someone in a button down shirt. it’s probably his lawyer because the cat’s orange mouth is shut
I think all my spooky besties deserve some treats
Panic! At the Lightning Room
So far I have 2 confirmed diagnoses and 3 evidences of a problem, but not final diagnosis yet. I turned 31 and immediately fell apart. I thought aging was supposed to be gradual!
I've been saying from the beginning that I might be getting hit with several health problems at once and I think it's true. My copper deficiency and digestive issues are on the path to correction but I'm still having dizzy spells and what do you know, I've suddenly developed constant sinus pain...
Some people's reaction to this is like "that seems invasive" and yeah I kinda agree but
1) it's in no way required
2) like I said all my basic biometrics are normal/unremarkable
So I'm happy to just take their discount and be a dot on a chart lol
My health insurance offers a discount for letting them look at some basic biometric markers yearly, if they're all in normal range
Anyway the only nice thing about being a medical mystery is that my biometrics are normal so they'll continue giving me the discount despite me spending ALL THEIR MONEY
Yeah I'm not dying RIGHT NOW but it's impeding my life and ability to work and the longer this goes on the more likely I could have permanent damage. The ablist system that only values my ability to work is doing its darnedest to disable me and remove my ability to work.
American health care needs... A lot of things, but the one that's getting to me most right now is the lack of an option between "I'm dying right now" and "I can wait 2 months"
Urgent cares are trying to fill this need but they're only equipped to deal with basic things like broken bones and flus
I don't know what Hollywood Bowl stage designer needs to hear this, but stop pointing spotlights directly into the eyes of the people who are halfway up the bowl and therefore are precisely eye level with them.
DOWN at the tops of people's heads is okay, but more than like 45 degrees is NOT
I didn't think I was going to go for trophies or other collectables in the game but it took me until finishing the game to *get* it and now I think I might go back for at least some extra exploration after all...
It got scary then scarier then there were cool robots then I was crying?? RiME was good! Perfect for if you're looking for low-stakes gameplay but good storytelling like I was this week.
I started RiME today because I was looking for a cozy game I could play on PS4 after getting my eyes dilated (bigger and further away screen than my usual PC/phone games, much easier to see)
The first chapter was cozy but then the second chapter was AAGH ANGRY PTERODACTYL
More to come!
When you call a doctor and they're like "our first availability is in November" 🤬 bitch I'm not planning ahead to get sick in two months, I'm sick NOW
