My experiences with Line 2 and 4 have been good, but honestly I've been very surprised by how often it's been having issues - I've been getting service alerts for both at least twice a week this winter. Hopefully the East and West extensions open soon and the Stage 2 trio will be complete!

But why spend some extra money now when you can spend 3X more a decade from now. Of course the ideal scenario would have Line 2 & 4 electrified same as 1 & 3 with a tie-in at Bayview to allow direct Downtown-Airport service, but I have doubts this will happen within my lifetime

If the entire alignment was double tracked it would be easy to run an occasional airport service direct to/from Bayview, which for many pax would eliminate a transfer. And Stage 2 South was the perfect time to do this - they had the entire line closed and tore up all the tracks.

Line 4 is great for people riding in from out west or who already live near Line 2, but idk why you would cut a bus route from downtown which is faster and more direct. Line 4 itself has really just been good at highlighting the shortcomings of Stage 2, especially the lack of double tracking.

Since these have opened by far the biggest criticism I have heard is how much more inconvenient it is getting to the airport now, especially for people travelling from downtown who need to make two transfers. IMO just because there's a rail link doesn't mean there shouldn't also be a bus.

Frictional and Remedy both did their announcements correctly, IMO you shouldn't be announcing something if the release date is more than a year away. People don't have to wait as long if they don't know it's coming out!

In reflecting on the current O-Train offering, here are a few ideas that would enhance the service.

1.) O-Train Lines 2 & 4 should have the same hours as Line 1. (Going to airport in the early morning is difficult, but near impossible by train when Line 1 opens at 5am and Lines 2 & 4 open at 6am.

Incredibly disappointed to see this. PDX and CO can and should do better.
