Actually where I’m posted we just got three response volunteers. Only one had been RPCV. Two were older with experience in a desired field. One was young and not a RPCV but a few years after college.

Yeah, we had two not show up for staging. I think because my cohort is 17, no cliques have developed and we all look out and respect each other.

Community Economic Development but it’s more cultural understanding between former country neighbors. One might call it ethnic reconciliation in pursuit of increasing capacity for employment.

I think it’s ok to ask people to checkout Peace Corps service. I began 13 months ago and my entire cohort is still serving and happy. It’s a great way to start one’s career, rebrand one’s career or on my case to retire.

I did six years on nuclear submarines. Now I’m serving in the peace corps in Kosovo. There’s two other veterans with me out of 30 total.
