Is there a “state of college hockey” press conference again this year?

Looking at the NPI… if I wanted to see what the NPI would look like with *no* QWB, would I simply subtract the QWB from the NPI rating, or is the QWB applied before the iterative NPI calculation?
(Turning the QWB threshold to 99 doesn’t work on the customizer)
Your leading hypothesis of “it only makes sense if UAA lost its grandfather status” would require this page to be out of date, but only with respect to the men’s hockey program division:

To be expected. Listened to your NPI roundups from over the weekend and it definitely tracks with this thread!
Don’t forget about the part where the men’s team laughed in agreement at the president’s contempt for the women’s team
(even though an advisor to the women’s team, who is also a former women’s team player, has two sons on the men’s team…)
Of course I haven’t read through the AQ details referenced further down, so maybe there’s something else there.
With the NCAA’s lawsuit track record, however, maybe Maryville would need only to wink at a lawyer to get around it.
Definitely curious if that’s the guidance the NCAA gave.
Could be missing something, but I tried reading through the legislation details and from there the requirement appears to be “six active NCAA members, 75 percent of which must be active Division I”

It’d be an interesting wrinkle that 5 D-I programs and 1 D-II program could make a conference (if that post is accurate) but couldn’t get an autobid, if there is truly a difference in the rules there.
Just listened to your Friday preview where you talk about this.
The updated rules for single sport conferences seems to allow Maryville with the 5 indies (they’d be the only “D-II” program so it would satisfy the 75% rule)
But were you saying that the autobid might not go by that rule?
Every current or former AE in the audience could relate
Alright, SOLIDWORKS nerds, how many of you are on Bluesky? #3DXW26
Bonus points for noting that amazing sequence of passes that went on before Gilbert’s championship winning goal.
Also: Bruno Idzan in the 6th (181st overall)
I can hear arguments on the others, but that no-call before Lundell’s goal was baffling considering how low the bar has been to call high sticks the other way.
I’m generally a person who thinks conspiracy theories are for the feeble-minded to wrap their heads around truths they cannot possibly understand.
But the “Colin Campbell is throwing weight so his son’s team can win” theory has felt like it had legs this spring.
If you’re a hockey fan who (a) never sees ice and (b) are surrounded by meth addicts… this has been an amazing decade for you.
Every time I think I can’t take more as a Wild fan, I remember that the Maple Leafs exist.
Finley is our only Jr forward now?
There we are. Okay, I figured I was missing one of them.
I did have Bruno in mind. Makes me wonder which forward I’m not thinking of. 5 or 6 incoming freshmen at forward?
Do I have it right that the /currently confirmed/ roster for next year is at 25 (16F, 7D, 2G) for now?
(Pending House settlement roster limits, only room for maybe one player from the portal)
2. Why did Hegseth copy war planning information from the military computer systems onto a Signal chat?
3. Hegseth needs to explain why he thought all those people needed the war plans? On MSNBC Goldberg indicated the Sec of Treasury was in the chat…. Why?
There was a similar moment in January when Wisconsin was 10-12-2, but because of their abysmal OT record you could say they had a .5139 win%.
Didn’t matter since Wisc. crashed out in February, but the question about if OT games have the 2/3 and 1/3 weighting applies here as it does in the RPI.
This year has made me wonder what the .500 record requirement for an at-large actually means.
Michigan is 18-15-3. But, because they went 6-1 in OT games, that actually translates to .4954 win% if you weigh those OT games the same as the RPI does.
So… is there an argument that Mich. is ineligible?

Sorry, I apologise for posting Exe/tree/mist views on Bluesky.
