There's like, Bready and Jinako, maybe Elegg, and that's pretty much it for big girls in the entire gacha medium
Me when I see people calling a gacha character with a BMI higher than 1 “thicc”:
You're not going to get Pete to happen. Quit trying to make Pete happen.
This is so unbelievably wrong on an academic level it's hilarious

Hey man, we cool? I just noticed that when I look at you the reticle turns red.
There are so many abusive drunks in the Trump 2 cabinet that they’re kicking out ones I didn’t even know were moving like that
interesting recession indicator I just spotted: the year is 2026, and the recession began in 2007 and at no point did it meaningfully abate for the vast, vast majority of people
Is there any way BOTH parties could lose here?
I was discussing Super Robot Wars Impact with a friend recently and had to share this gem.
"Stat-based policing" is pretty clearly derived from the stat-based "counterinsurgency" anticommunist torture and murder programs in South America and Southeast Asia, but when you look at things like the LAPD's use of "death cards," it becomes clearer where "cowboy" stuff like CRASH came from.
LAPD learned directly from MAC-SOG/CIA guys involved in Phoenix and Condor, probably some time in the 1070s when Daryl Gates was cozying up to some of the comp-sci guys and spooks who worked on them.
Saki but with physical sports?

I've been meaning to try that game at some point since I liked Star Traders: Frontiers.
That double-pack of Cyber Knights and Quasimorph? Both games are VERY COOL sneaky turn-based tactics, discounted, and extra discounted if you get them together.
Cyber Knights has gotten at least one major update every week since its early access debut, and Quasimorph is just about to hit v1.0.

We ain't ever getting Girls' Work
The 18th anniversary of the Tsukihime Remake, Mahoutsukai no Yoru, and Girls' Work announcements is currently trending on Twitter.

cute/hot!
new recession indicator just dropped
For clarity re 10%. Over 800,000 Jewish settlers in occupied East Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank correspondent to roughly 7.4m Jews in Israel+Palestine overall.
Part of that is that it is a far smaller area and in a far more modern time period, part of it is that people don't have an updated understanding of settler-colonialism beyond the movies made by Hollywood in the 1950s, part of it is obtuseness, part of it racism, part of it just plain low-info.
There are ways in which settlement in Palestine mirrors the settlement of western North America, especially as it relates to the symbiotic relationship between settler and army against native, but the settlement process in 2026 is far more centralized than it ever was in 1830.
A lot of people believe, for whatever reason, that 1) settlers are few and far between in Israeli politics, rather than literally >10% of the Jewish population and in government, and 2) that settlement as an enterprise is not state-backed and state-ran.
I think if you asked the median person even on Bluesky to estimate exactly how many Jewish settlers live in occupied Palestinian territory most would be off by at least 300,000.
