Life sucks, and then you die.

A shift in habit and attitude would make me glad I put in the work to bring my thoughts from the valley. The reality is that anything worth having is worth trying for. And the most precious things in life are worth fighting for.

Head in the clouds is nice, but it's better to be down to Earth. My office may be a mess, but has thousands of pounds of worth.

It's hopeless to concentrate on what you don't have, you'll end up crying. What you have right in front of you, the people you can rely on is the guide on which true die hards are made. Ignore the big mansion. Where does your heart stay?

Why every couple of weeks, I'm looking at a lottery site. It's a 'stupidity tax' and yet I still wanna try.

Should look back in my own mind to what I've told my loves a million times. That the key to an even stride is to redefine your focus.

Especially around payday when I really feel the hardship. I run my bills versus my paycheck and have to brace steady as the bottom line has a perpetual negative sign. Like the words printed on my wallet are 'Borrow' and 'Buy'. Quite the way to write yourself out of a prosperous life.

Opposing the notion that if I want to provide for those that do the same for me, I maybe should take that new 6-string out of the cart. And yeah, I know money is no substitute for a loving heart.

But the idea's hard to part with. I stop and it restarts quick.

And that feeling never goes away. I can give love all day, but everyone I give it to still has bills to pay. Some better or worse at saving the pennies we earn every day, and I know. I'm the latter. Blowing funds when it would matter more to keep my pocket closed.

You know? Some days, I wish I was rich.
Not some entitled silver spoon bitch complaining about tiny itches while others are scratching their skin off. Not the turn my nose and cough at the worse off type living a life they didn't earn. I just wanna give my family the life I think they deserve.
