One of the very few reasons I miss living in Florida!

What did farmers and ranchers do before these trucks got this big? I'm legitimately wondering. How have these solved problems that are worth letting them on roads with normal sized passenger cars?

That's fine, but they should be specified farm equipment vehicles. They have no business driving around suburban streets.

Not kidding, I do very much think these things are dangerous. There is no need for a car hood to come up 6" off the ground if you aren't semi. And semi drivers have to get special certifications.

Hahaha I know. I didnt even try to argue at that point. I just told him the cops would sort it out. He eagerly agreed... but ended up not being too happy with what the officers' ruling was haha.

I stared at him for a solid five seconds in shock at the stupidity of his reasoning.

Yeah, get this. There was a driver ahead of me that went into the straight lane and slowed down almost to a stop. I merged into my turn lane and that's when the truck hit me. He said that because that other driver 'gave him the go ahead' that made it my fault.

Oh for sure. I live in the downtown of a city and they're a menace in all parking situations. Especially like this doofus who had a whole hitch rigged up despite not towing anything.

No, thankfully. I was slowing down for a red light and he had only accelerated out of the parking lot so it was very low speed.

Thankfully despite the at fault driver trying to fight his at fault-ness, my car was just picked up for repairs by his insurance. But damn, it was scary having that monstrosity coming at me.

These trucks should not be road legal. This guy claimed he couldn't see me after pulling out of a gas station and hitting my car in the turn lane (He also tried to claim it was my fault lol)

I seriously just can't with these trucks. Couple that with texting and driving? Yikes.
