Thread about the long tail for fraud and why football clubs need to take due diligence more seriously.

Just had to be done.

In that scenario, I can see that being a real option.

I have Gakpo and would need to hit him out (for Wissa) - so more debatable. But an option.

Yeah - good, innit? ๐Ÿ˜€

Also worth noting that bb25 might be an option for someโ€ฆ.

AM24 closes that door too.

Todayโ€™s developments also somewhat limit later doubles as well.

To what extent we wonโ€™t know yet, but definitely worth considering bb25 looking at the fixtures.

Could work both ways.

Bournemouth have already beaten City and Arsenal this season and last lost in gw12.

Not a guarantee that Liverpool sail past them.

Would be interesting to hear your conclusions.

Iโ€™m just not seeing the upside in Moyes when you also have to consider the sacrifices needed (spend an FT next week, maybe compromise on moves this week, move with all the info).

Slot - quite possibly yes, for those with 2 Liverpool and cash Itb

There is an elephant in the room too for some - BB25โ€ฆ..

Iโ€™m โ€œluckyโ€ enough to have played my TC, but if I had it, I would probably slap it on Mo this week.

Plan is to roll an FT and consider AM next week, with more transfers and information than I would have if I played it this week.

Checks out ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜

Nice to see someone else not fixated on AM this week.

Moyes has a very real chance of getting minimal points this week.

All at the cost of an inevitable FT next week, possible sub-optimal transfers this week, and incomplete information.

So am I the only one (probably) not playing a chip this week?

Atmosphere at matches - much the same from our perspective.

Standard of football - *so* much better. Small mistakes gets ruthlessly punished. Almost no margin for error.

VAR (and general consistently of refereeing) - an absolute horror-show ๐Ÿ˜‚

Exactly that - I canโ€™t reconcile it.

So Cunha effectively gets to rest his tight hamstring for a week, as punishment.

1 year ago 16 0 2 0

I think you know the answer to that ๐Ÿ˜

No slight on Portsmouth intended. I could have used us losing to Wycombe a week earlier, but pretty much exactly 2 years was a nice benchmark to use.

To put Ipswich 2 Chelsea 0 into perspective:

2 years and 1 day ago, Ipswich drew 2-2 away to Portsmouth in league 1.

Walton, Davis, Wolfenden, Morsy and Burns started both matches.

Absolutely - I was worried he had stopped the celebration, but turns out he was saving it for a special occasion ๐Ÿ˜

Unnecessarily harsh dig at Haaland.

For anyone (like me) who has already used their TC, Bench Boost in the Liverpool dgw should remain a viable option.

In gw25, for instance, Liverpool, Arsenal, Bournemouth and Villa all have prime fixtures in that gw, plus the best run of fixtures across the following 8 gw too.

1 year ago 8 0 1 0

Most probably a result of

- good initial pricing

- a healthy range of viable players

- a โ€œhop on / hop offโ€ strategy of jumping between premiums with strong fixtures

- rolling multiple transfers meaning lower chance of being priced out of moves
