I'll say the only downside is, while it tried to make an admirable message of it, it did struggle with "Why is Batman with the Justice League" Syndrome, where he's more like a sidekick than holding his own. And Shadow is kind of mimicking his actions near the end, that's sorta explained but… Shadow.

Lrt: drives me nuts that we can't have 3D playback on TVs just because it didn't become a big smash hit gimmick. All it requires is a fast frame rate and we have that! Give it back! It's a film preservation issue! I know nobody needs to see Endgame in 3D, but there are films made FOR it! Good ones!

You can watch 3D movies using a VR headset, with a proper cinema setting, with your friends if you like. I watched Avatar recently with a group and we had a good time with it.

Everyone knows the film gets really sad a few minutes later, and in those moments the director deliberately reduced the use of 3D to communicate the flattening of life that grief can bring. That's art, that's a layer that's been stripped from a film and people don't even know.
