Im around 45% through and honestly I am not enjoying it as much as I liked Godkiller unfortunately. I do want to continue with the series bc I enjoyed the writing but there are certain aspects that have really let me down

This is by no means an extensive list of February Fantasy Releases, just the few that I actually have an interest in! Which books are you looking forward to this month?

(Maybe eventually I will make big lists but who knows)

A little late but my Top 10 books of 2024!

Last year I read 46 books and these were my favourites. I'm excited to continue some of these series and find more books about vampires 🧛‍♀️

Prince of Fools has been on my shelves for far too long and the last of your main trilogies I need to finish. My Library Trilogy re-read starts so I am ready for book 3.

Looking to be a good month of reading!

4. Valley by Stacey McEwan

⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed book 1, was so disappointed by book 2 I was hoping Valley would redeem the series. However it didn't. The characters didn't grow from book 1 and the plot relied on miscommunication and basic fantasy tropes. I really didn't care about the ending sadly

Fingers crossed Sword Catcher is going to break my streak of bad books 👀

Also is Cassie Clare going to make it back into my fave authors after this?

Not sure if I'm just not in the mood for them or that I have just moved on from their series...

January started off as a good reading month for me but the last 3 books I've started have been 😬😬

DNF. Blood of Hercules by Jasmine Mas

I'm sorry but what in the 'My Immortal' fanfic is this?? The prologue was well written and then we hit into chapter 1 and it's like they ran out of money for an editor. It sounded like something I would have read on tumblr in 2010 and I couldn't do it

3. Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski

I am continuing my obsession with Yennifer, Geralt and their two unruly children, Ciri and Dandelion. This series continues to be so much fun but also make me cry. However, one downside is I have met Triss and I wish I hadn't

2. The Land of the Living and the Dead by @shaunalawless.bsky.social

This trilogy is so well thought out and written. The history and characters are so rich. The romance was amazing. I enjoyed the series from start to finish and can't wait to see what Shauna puts out next! #QueenoftheYearn

1. Assassins Quest by @robinhobb.bsky.social

This series to me is everything high fantasy should be. It was perfect for me and I never guessed we would be building dragons by the end. The writing and the characters will stay with me for a long time. #FitzForever 🖤
