Your state legislators have been on the House floor since 6pm yesterday, no breaks, to pass a Millionaires Tax.
They've struck down 50+ amendments, mostly intended to weaken the bill and run down the clock.

An amendment from opposition providing a deduction from a taxpayer's Washington base income for the proceeds of the sale of the business assets of a retiring farmer failed.
Rep. April Berg speaks to small farmers who were truly thought of in this bill and will not be paying this tax.

An enormous list of 80+ amendments on the WA Leg website. They are listed by number.
There are... a lot of amendments. 81 to be exact. Around 60 of them are GOP-led, clearly meant to waste time and drag out the vote. It seems likely, if many of those amendments aren't withdrawn, that the #WALeg House will be in session overnight to finish this bill.
