At #COP30, Parties adopted the Belem Adaptation Indicators to measure progress on adaptation and resilience globally. Now Parties have a functional global framework for adaptation. The indicators are important to measure progress on adaptation for #GST2 which starts at the end of this year.
#COP30 launched a Global Implementation Accelerator & the Belém Mission to 1.5 to enhance international cooperation and action. Parties will also consider whether to renew the Mitigation Work Programme this year.
