We've got stoppage time winners, a last-gasp penalty save, a goal from halfway, a coaching change, one game that finished 10-4, another game that finished 9-2... in other words, it's just another week on the Aotearoa domestic football scene

No he hasn't taken his opportunities for Blackcaps (14avg in 4xODI and 5xT20I).
Henry Nicholls keeps scoring runs so he and Young will be mature cover for batting roles, then Mariu/Heaphy/Abbas as the younger guys pushing into squad.

Blundell was awesome after his injury for Wellington too so he responded to Hay's challenge.
No need to rush anything - same for all Blackcaps roles with so much depth. If older players don't respond then they'll be overtaken and it brings the best out of everyone.
Not to play but squad selection would be a development boost for them.
Latham/Conway hit 3 centuries and a double in the last Test so can't see that changing. Williamson will probably be keen to play the next wave of Tests.
Will Young's still in the mix as top order cover.
