Some changes immediately implemented:

Signage on doors says “patients only” and “visitors only” to be more inclusive.

Funding secured to help make baths and showers more accessible for people (no step ups or step downs).

Training for all staff booked in surrounding LGBTQ+ experiences.

I always forget I have this account - UPDATE!

I’m now 32 weeks pregnant 🫃🏻

We’re having a boy!

Care at the hospital continues to be above and beyond. I’ve been working with them directly to secure funding to make their spaces more inclusive for all minorities.

Every healthcare provider has been wonderful. My midwife is an absolutely gem, all the sonographers we have seen have been really kind and understanding of our little miracle.

However, I do have to use the female toilets in the hospital as there are no men’s loos on the ante-natal ward.

The confusion at doctors and dentists is wild. My birth certificate, nhs numbers etc all says male, however, whenever I pass them my maternity certificate it causes lots of confusion.

I have to explain our situation over and over again

I’ve had people (family) say to me that me being pregnant is “sick” and that I shouldn’t get to “pick and choose”… I should have paid for a surrogate like all other gay couples / adopt (this statement is eugenics by the way).

Because of people like this, this is why I’m locking myself away.

Pregnancy as a transman is lonely.

You can’t do all the cute days out with your partner and the bump. Baby shopping starts now before I’m too big.

Our plan is to essentially lock me away in our home once I can’t cover the bump. I’ll essentially become a hermit for 5 months.

Not been on here in a while!

Big news to share!

I’m currently 3.5 months pregnant 🥺

Little bean will joining us on Christmas Day (if they arrive on time!)

I wanted to make a post of what it’s been like so far

But anyway, today I’m having to raw dog the pain without ibuprofen because I’m getting matching tattoos with my husband of our dog - what a time to be alive! This should be a day of excitement but once again, I can’t wait for it to be over so I can take pain relief 🥹

It’s worth noting, that Endo and PCOS run in my family and my doctors are very certain I also have these as well (waiting on a diagnostic surgery date) as they also believe one of my ovaries is basically held in a weird position from scar tissue 🥴

As a transman going on a fertility journey, I’m currently at a low. My menstrual cycles so far have been manageable, less heavy than before and less painful … I think they’ve finally gone back to normal and it’s killing me. How did 9-19 year old me cope with this amount of pain?

As transmen, does everyone still say “God, I’m so gay!” whenever you see a pretty woman?

Just me?

The two guys arm wrestling meme. One person is labelled “my chest after top surgery” and the other is labelled “pancakes” and their joined hands are labelled “flat”

Happy pancake day everyone

It’s been about making working out “fun” for me. I think I’ve finally found the key. I’m only allowed to watch my favourite tv shows / movies whilst I’m on my bike (indoors obviously).

My next goal is to get to 20km in under 40 minutes. I’m hoping to lose another stone and a bit before June.

I’ve been mindful of keeping check on my previous experiences of weight loss and the obsessiveness I can get to. It won’t happen this time. Stronger is key!

One big part of my fertility journey has been getting fitter / healthier. I’ve now managed to cycle 18.5km in 40 mins! I’ve been slowly giving up vaping and it’s had a HUGE impact already. I’ve also massively cut down on my alcohol intake.

I’ve lost around 1.5 stone healthily for the first time.

Not to be THAT person … but I started taking MANUAL about 3 months ago.

I currently take the Finasteride pill and use the shampoo every day.

I didn’t realise how much hair I had lost until it started coming back.

It’s so worth it! Hayley was exceptional in this play (also my favourite Shakespeare play!) I’m trying to convince my husband to let me go again 😆

Much Ado About Nothing really healed something in me today 💗
(In my opinion, one of Shakespeare’s best comedies!)

Hayley Atwell and Tom Hiddleston and the rest of the cast were just perfection ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

By far some of the best Shakespeare I’ve seen in a long time!

I feel like BluSky may be a good place to start talking about my journey to become a Seahorse Dad!

5 months off the old testosterone to begin our fertility journey.

Menstruations battled = 3

Investigative surgery for Endo = waiting for the date!

Officially left that cesspit of X, over 10 years of memories and friendship, but nothing is worth using a Nazi platform.
