The Furby cards looked hella sick. This is a hill I'm willing to die on.

TMNT was pretty sparse at my lgs. Another in the area dropped prices pretty dramatically to get attendance up. Had more fun playing TMNT than Lorawyn, but the players just didn't show up. Sure it differs by area.
Cardassian society is so family centered, I think that white or green would be fitting as a third color.
I'm on team Naya for the Klingons. Red White seems pretty obvious to most people commenting here, but I think the Klingon sense of a "natural order" where might makes right, fits well with green. A mix of Boros and Gruul feels right for them.
Tarmagoyf is in the weird place where it's too weak for competitive play, but somehow still too strong and expensive to include in the Goyf commander precon.
Not sure if this really fits as a promo, but seeing Mario 3 for the first time at 8 as part of the Wizard was incredible.
And now we can see why Dev rated Aetherdrift so highly.
I have to use LinkedIn for work, and this encapsulates exactly how I feel about it.
Ran into Crim from @mtggoldfish.com at @illusivecomics.com in Santa Clara where he graciously signed a copy of Secret Rendezvous that had already been signed by Richard, the codfather himself. I guess I have to get the rest of the goldfish crew to sign it now.
It seems like, with the exception of Spiderman, all the draftable UB sets have been in the really good to great range and are generally well received. Maybe external IP isn't the issue people were concerned about.
Haven't seen the video, but I see mill and I hit the like button immediately.
Worst tv theme song since Enterprise's "Faith of the Heart."
Isn't Commander supposed to be a casual format? People are getting really butthurt about a casual game.
The real insidious thing about UB is that even if I understand intellectually that an IP doesn't really "belong" in Magic, if I already liked it enough my emotional brain takes over. Even if the Trek set sucks, I'm 100% bought in already. I didn't want Magic to become Top Trumps, but there you go.
I'm waiting for the Prof's inevitable Neelix commander deck tech.
Welp, there goes my savings account.
I get why people are not happy about the Dwight #secretlair, but the art on this is pretty sick.

So can I sue Kenvue, the maker of Tylenol, for how much money I've spent on Magic cards and Warhammer kits, or is there some sort of statute of limitations?

EoE this year, and Bloomburrow last, are proof that WotC can create incredible sets in-universe. But FF outsold every set that came before it in a day, so the writing is on the wall.

Since we're already doing Marvel, why not Guardians of the Galaxy? It's probably the most non-human of the Marvel movies (which people know way better than the comics).
Didn't this happen during the Colin Baker era? The show was put on hiatus with no clear future, only for it to eventually return after about a year off (the Trial of a Timelord season).
Here's an article from 4 months ago. I wonder if it's still relevant?
Alien planets in Dr Who should all look like abandoned quarries or the English countryside. No exceptions.
I was really hoping for an Ork speed freak vehicles deck with the last 40k decks. Maybe this time we'll get one.
I'd also be happy with anything Star Trek.
My wallet is really hoping that there isn't a Star Trek Secret Lair coming with this set. My heart feels otherwise.
Why don't the more expensive packs simply eat the cheaper packs? Is wizards stupid or something?
This is my second comment comparing the Prof to the Sixth Doctor. No apologies.
From my understanding Colin Baker wanted to gradually have his costume to become darker to reflect that incarnation's serious undertones. In some alternate universe where the 6th Dr has 5+ seasons he could have ended up looking pretty similar to how the Prof dresses now.
Thank you for your service. That's probably my favorite AVClub cover and it's unfortunately hard to find.
Hey, @danaroach.bsky.social, besides co-hosting the @edhrecast.bsky.social are you also the one keeping the Mountain Goats' cover of Boxcar up on YouTube?
