iPods were a great product that only died because they couldn't figure out a way to insert ads into your own music.

Odegaard and Havertz have collectively played 300 fewer Premier League minutes this season than Guehi and Semenyo have *for Man City*.

Average new UK electric car price is now lower than petrol vehicles Autotrader says average EV cost is £785 cheaper, in an important milestone in the move away from fossil fuels

Forget "total cost of ownership." In the UK, the average EV is now cheaper than the average ICE vehicle, up front. Sticker cost.

And of course the savings just keep accumulating after that.

Man, the whole "anti-woke" moral panic just looks worse & worse in the rearview mirror.

And the fun part is that *everybody knows this*.

Yeah well, we can’t have an inquiry into that because it’ll swiftly become apparent it was just Peter hooking Morgan up with undeclared millionaire bungs and Steve Reed drafting smeary dossiers on colleagues and passing them to Peter’s friends at the Times. And that’s just for starters, in 2018.

Again: young people might not realize that this kind of repugnant racism was unacceptable to express publicly, *not that long ago*.

Do I hear the distant sound of Chaos with Ed Miliband??

Again: the political theory underpinning the democratic strategy was that there are more votes to be won from republican-leaning voters by tacking towards Trump on policy than lost from those to your left. This political theory turned out to be untrue. You can either learn from that or not.

Ed Miliband being mentioned seriously as a candidate for PM, Francois Hollande running for President again. The piss weak social democrats of 2012 are back and they're turning up the volume!

I hate being right especially when I don't even get paid for it"

You understand the utility of having Corbyn in parliament so long as Starmer is PM because he is *fuming* whenever he has to answer a question from him. Properly haunts him that he couldn't oust him last election.

I'm somewhat ambivalent on the "not accusing members of lying" rule. It can be farcical, but think attaching a light cost to it allows it to maintain a bit of power when MPs do accept that cost and refuse to retract. But I do always find it weird how *angry* Hoyle gets about it.

Sure but: do we all get that it was Mandelson who hired Sir Keir, and not the other way around? There’s corruption because Peter had *for years* been leading a secret party-within-a-party, and it looks like everyone who matters played along with it, whether knowingly or unwittingly.

The reason this crisis is rumbling on and will continue to do so is that Starmer can't say the basic truth, which is that he appointed Mandelson for services rendered and they thought his association with Epstein was a bonus.
