All algorithms have been improved to account for any sudden surge in posts. However, this does mean a slight delay.

Morning all! Something funky is going on with Bluesky's language settings - it seems some people (including us) have had their feed view language settings reverted.
This is causing posts to show up in BSFC feed dashboard, but they're invisible when viewing the feed on Bluesky.
Getting lots of reports of a lot of suspensions. This is concerning and may correlate with the recent rise in thousands of Kiwi Farms accounts being created.
It is extremely crucial to subscribe to additional moderation services, such as @skywatch.blue, in order to make vetting block lists easier.

This is the next phase that Kiwi Farms members have stated they will do - constructing look-alike blocklists and then adding popular trans people to them after the fact, once the blocklist is seeded in the community. Make sure any block list you use says who runs it.
For example, DOGE - the cryptocurrency - was never meant to be taken seriously. It was always intended to be a parody of other cryptocurrencies. So, while we should take the upcoming federal agency named after it seriously, mock it and call it "weird". Because it is.
While you should take threats like fascism seriously, don't forget to mock their any impotence whenever possible. Oh, and as counterintuitive as this may sound, call them "weird" as well. Always.
When reposting threads, try doing it in reverse order.

Every nation, state, city, town, etc., is just a social construct. It is something we use to keep ourselves organized. The system is only as good as we believe it is, no matter how hard someone may chip away at it, but we can improve upon it. It is as fluid as us. Understanding that is our strength.
